GAINESVILLE - Prompted by a “dramatic increase” in their client base, local Internet marketing agency Red Clay Interactive (RCI) recently increased their staff by 50% with the addition of six new staff members.

Anthony White, vice president of marketing for Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movie Channel, was named senior VP, marketing.

Deena Stern, senior director of brand-marketing strategy at Comedy Central, was named vice president, brand marketing and executive creative director.

Ad holding company Interpublic Group has bought branded entertainment shop Translation Consulting + Brand Imaging. Financial terms were not disclosed. The New York-based company, which will be held as stand alone unit, tends to focus on youth and multicultural marketing campaigns for the likes of Reebok and General Motors.
